What if you do not find my spares the first time?
A
Obviously with the nature of used spares, it would be impossible for every member to have every spare for every model of vehicle ever made, however with a network of over, 100 Dismantlers, we usually expect 4, 5 or 6 to have one. It is of course possible from time to time that no one will have a particular part but as all members are receiving new stock daily, you can simply re-enter your request a day or two later and often, your parts will have become available. Due to the industry we are in, what is here today can be gone tomorrow, and back again the following day.

What if the part I purchase is faulty?
A
In the unlikely event that a faulty part is supplied, and the supplier refuses to help then please bring it to our attention immediately, we will then contact the supplier on your behalf and try to negotiate the matter for you. If proved the supplier has acted wrongly, they would be removed from our system with immediate effect.

What success rate does MyPartsTrader have in finding spares?
A
Again it's impossible to accurately state just how many times we successfully find spares for customers but indications are that it’s as often as 85% to 95% of the time.

How many requests can I make?
A
You can make up to 2 requests online per month free. Or an unlimited amount of requests via one of our Authorised Agents (1GHC each). Obviously if you are a private motorist, you will only need to make the occasional request for spares but if you are a trade repairer, you can call 0201629056 to set-up an account which will allow you to use MyPartsTrader.com to locate them as often as you wish.

What savings can I expect to make if I use Recycled spares instead of new ones?
A
Obviously it's impossible to accurately give a true percentage figure but you should expect to save between 45% to 80% off the cost of new spares.

How do I know the supplier is genuine?
A
We only allow genuine suppliers onto our supplier network; We constantly monitor all suppliers to ensure the service they offer to our customers does not tarnish our reputation in any way.

So do we purchase parts from MyPartsTrader.com?
A
No. your parts request will be directed immediately to all dismantlers and parts suppliers within our network, we will then accumulate the quotes and then contact you by the method selected on your parts request form, Should you wish to make a purchase then it will be made directly with one of our suppliers registered with MyPartsTrader.com.

What Guarantee am I likely to receive?

All suppliers have different Guarantees with their parts. We recommend you ask the supplier before you purchase any parts what guarantee they can offer on your particular parts. Some members will offer up to 90 Days. (A good point to note when making a purchase) Parts Trader takes no responsibility for transactions between parts suppliers and our customers. We simply act as a directory to help you locate the parts you are looking for.

How do I pay the supplier for the parts?
A
You negotiate with the chosen supplier direct, to agree payment terms.

Am I obliged to purchase if I make a request?
A
No, absolutely not. You are under no obligation whatsoever. Once you make a request, our car breakers and suppliers send you a quote for you to consider. You need not phone any of them or purchase any parts at all but we hope our members will provide you with the best possible quotes available so if you need quality used vehicle spares, breakeryard.com members will be your first point of call.

What happens after I submit my parts request?
A
Within 4 - 24 hours you will receive quotes from our registered members. This will be via email or text, which ever service you have selected. Each quote will have the company's contact details for your reference. Just choose the member that meets your needs and contact them should you choose to purchase the part based on the details provided from the member. If we struggle to locate the part you’re looking for it maybe up to 24 hours.

Is there a charge for Emails?

No. Your request is sent to all our members and any who can supply you, will enter their quotes into our system. We'll in turn Email them to you, completely Free Of Charge!

So why do you offer this Free service Online but charge when using your Authorised agents?
A
When using our advance online systems, your request is automated electronically. However, when you visit one of our agents it requires a customer service representative to assist you which takes time. We endeavor to keep the cost to our customers to a basic minimum; this is why we charge such a small fee. With the cost of receiving texts via your mobile phone; we only charge a minimal administration fee to account for some of the administration costs we incur to be able to provide this service to you.

How much does it cost to use this service?

We offer an advanced Online system to submit your parts request free via our website "MyPartsTrader.com" or in person via our Authorised Agents, these are charged at 1GHC. If you do not have an email address to receive your parts quotes, then you will need to pay a further 1GHC to receive text quotes.
