Job Title: Research /Monitoring and Evaluation Manager (2 positions)

Report to the programme coordinator and will be responsible for providing effective research, monitoring and evaluation service to the organisation for the development of its corporate strategic plans in the following areas:

Research
* Lead and design research by analysing the gaps and barriers in programme implementation
* Design and manage qualitative research to understand project findings and evidence related to entrepreneurial skills development and related modules

Monitoring and evaluation
* Design and lead baseline assessments and outcome evaluations of projects, ensuring that these assessments and evaluations are integrated into projects and the findings inform implementation
* Lead the development of monitoring and evaluation systems and frameworks to guide monitoring and evaluation activities for each project or module
* Develop survey instruments and manuals for data collection and analysis

The position holder must have
* Masters level degree in research, development economics, public policy or a related field with at least 6 years of senior level experience in monitoring, evaluation and or research in a related industry
* Demonstrated technical expertise in quantitative and qualitative social research methods
* Extensive experience in research and evaluation management and or execution
* Excellent writing skills and the ability to document clearly and succinctly for internal and external audiences
* Strong analytical skills, with expert knowledge of common statistical software packages
* Highly develop interpersonal and presentation skills
