The objectives of this new role are to develop and implement safety programmes in accordance with company policies and Ghanaian legislation. The job will be full time and based at the Esaase Gold Project site
Reporting to the GM - Health, Safety, Environment and Community, the incumbent's responsibility will include:
Leading the development and documentation of risk management and standard operating procedures within a framework of continuous improvement
Leading and/or participating in incident reporting, investigation, finding root causes and taking remedial action
Conducting safety inductions for all visitors and new employees
Coordinating safety training for employees
Carrying out routine inspections of workplaces
Tracking and reporting progress on safety initiatives |
